What do Eden, the tabernacle, the temple, Jesus, the Church, and the New Jerusalem have in common? All are the dwelling places of God.
In this class, we will explore the “spaces” where God has dwelled on earth and the mission He has given to His people to be fruitful and multiply, expanding that “space” to the ends of the earth. This is a mission that will be completed in and through Christ, who has Himself declared,
Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
Until that completion, we are called to mission, making disciples of Christ Jesus, who is with us always until the end of this age. We will be working largely, though not exclusively out of the book God Dwells Among Us: Expanding Eden to the Ends of the Earth, by G.K. Geale and Mitchell Kim.
This class was taught by Rev. Chad Reynolds as part of our Wednesday night Ekklesia Adult Elective series.
