Righteousness...It feels so good to be right! Is God righteous based on my righteousness, or am I righteous based on God's righteousness? This sermon is based on Luke 18:9-17.
In Luke 18:1-8, we learn that our hope must be built on the blood of Christ, and our persistent prayer must be motivated by his second coming and the justice he will bring.
In Luke 17:20-37, we are reminded that many people will be caught off guard when Jesus returns. Will you be one of them? Are you living expectantly for the coming of Christ? Moment to moment in our thoughts and our activities?
In Luke 17:1-10, we are called to be our brother’s and sister’s keepers in Christ. Do not be the one to cause temptation in the life of another through false teaching or false living.
