There are a lot of things going on in the individual lives of the members of First Presbyterian Church. We are busy people seeking to serve the Lord with our minds and hearts and souls and bodies by the grace of Christ. Along the way we stumble and fall, we have joys and triumphs, and we have more than a few questions and concerns. Our questions may be about current events, or they may be about the struggles of raising a family, or they may be theological, or they may be about a women’s Bible study, or they may be… you get the picture. Our questions are myriad because our concerns and our interests our broad.
Allow me to point you to a resource that can be of benefit to you: The Gospel Coalition website (http://www.thegospelcoalition.org/). The Gospel Coalition is a “fellowship of evangelical churches in the Reformed tradition deeply committed to renewing our faith in the gospel of Christ and to reforming our ministry practices to conform fully to the Scriptures,” (from the Foundation Documents section of the Gospel Coalition website). On its website TGC has a variety of resources that can benefit you as individuals, families, small groups, etc. Through blogs, longer articles, book reviews, sermons, etc. TGC contributors cover topics such as current events, Biblical studies, theological matters, and pragmatic Christian living. Their contributors include pastors, theologians, women’s ministry leaders, and journalists among others.
Some of you may have already discovered The Gospel Coalition but my guess is many of you have not. My hope is that by pointing you to this free, online resource your walk with Christ will be enhanced and blessed.
