The hospital was established in 1915 by World Witness. It is now a 170 bed hospital, featuring 3 operating rooms, a 16 bed Intensive care unit, 20 private rooms, a school of nursing and a girls hostel. This beacon of Christian love and quality healthcare is in a city of over 500,000 in central, southeast Pakistan. Although there is violence against Christians in Pakistan, the hospital is a relative island of peace because the population knows the hospital provides quality healthcare. As such, it is a unique opportunity to show Christian love and Christ. The director of the hospital is Dr. Keith Ackerman and he will speak this Wednesday at Ekklesia. Be in prayer for the hospital, the staff and patients this week and throughout the year.
