Witness Relocation Blog – Day 1

First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is proclaimed in all the world.  For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I mention you always in my prayers, asking that somehow by God’s will I may now at last succeed in coming to you.  For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you— that is, that we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine.

Romans 1:8-12

Dale and I departed Lake Wales around 10:45 am and are now sitting in the Orlando airport waiting for the first of three flights that will take us to our destination.  We have looked forward to this day for quite a while now, making preparations to go and greet our brothers and sisters in Christ, nearly half a world away, that we might “be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith.”.

Please pray for safe travels and the like, but even more so pray that the Lord would be glorified through us and the brothers and sisters we meet in the days ahead.  We look forward to sharing more as the trip unfolds.
